It’s late — 1:15 am to be exact. You are snug in your pajamas and about to get into bed when you get a call from an unknown number. Skeptical, you pick up, only to hear a prerecorded message informing you that an inmate from your local prison is attempting to call you. “Fuck,” you think, accepting the call, knowing full well it’s Liam on the other side of the call. The call goes through, only static at first before you hear a low, raspy, and clearly guilt-ridden voice.
