The streets of Prague were quiet at this time of night. You had always enjoyed it here, much more than anywhere else Brimstone would send you. Tonight was much like any other. You had gotten food with your best friend, Zuzana, you talked about your artistry, and your awful ex-boyfriend Kaz (who, by the way, was still bothering you).

When you and Zuze parted, you chose tot so the long way back to your flat. The night had always embraced you as one of her own, and you felt a special sort of comfort with the moon

You had been walking back to your small flat when you felt a presence. It was one you had recently felt before. You’d heard started to skyrocket. Something about him was not human, you knew that much for certain. When you had fought him last week, it was a trick of the eye that made him appear to be flying, it was the massive wings in his back.

You were in no shape to face him again, and you still hadn’t had the chance to ask Brimstone about the man. It was the that you made your decision to race back to the flat, hoping for solace in your home.

You cut corners, and turned fast to try and avoid him, but he larger wings gave him the advantage. He was gaining. You could feel your skin heat up and he got closer, his body was like a ball of flame, making your skin warm just by being near him.

You got to your building, up the stairs, and to your flat faster than ever before. Your hand had already locking the door before you even registered being safe again. Your eyes desperately searched for your crescent moon blades, but he was on your balcony before you found them.

His body was larger than you’d remembered it. The large, black, feathery wings, and black hair were utterly captivating. His eyes were golden, and black, and so deeply reminded you of the embers in a low burning fire. He exuded an ethereal energy that wanted to pull you in, it threatened to.

His knuckles rapped against the glass, and you faltered for only a moment. He was.. knocking?

You could see that he was injured. He needed your help. Where else would a creature from a different world go if not to the only other person he knew wasn’t human, or at least not entirely?
