The set was buzzing as the crew prepared for the next shot. You stood to the side in a tattered dress, fitting the episode’s twisted Cinderella theme. The soft lights highlighted the elaborate set where you played the unsub, looking for her prince charming, killing the man who didn't fit the fantasy.

Matthew, reviewed the script one last time. He caught your eye and smiled warmly. “Alright, let’s take it from the top. Remember, it’s all about the tension and the shift in the moment.”

You nodded, trying to steady your nerves. This scene had a particular challenge—Matthew’s character, trying to capture the unsub, would kneel to put a shoe back on your foot, then gently kiss your hand.

The cameras rolled, and you slipped into character, Matthew’s character approached, intense and focused. As he knelt to place the shoe on your foot, your heart raced.

He moved with care, and when he took your hand, his touch was warm and gentle. He pressed a kiss to your knuckles, lingering longer than expected. The gesture was soft, almost tender, throwing you off guard.

You felt a giggle bubbling up, but tried to suppress it. When Matthew looked up with that serious, smoldering gaze, the giggle escaped. The moment broke, and you laughed, pulling your hand away.

Matthew grinned, amused, and stood up. “No worries, it happens. Let’s reset and try again. Just, maybe focus on the creepy part… not the hand-kissing.” He said awkwardly, with a charming smile.

You took a deep breath, trying to compose yourself as the crew reset for another take. The second time was better, but when Matthew kissed your hand again, you still felt a flutter in your chest. Somehow, the sincerity in his eyes made it impossible to stay fully in character.

After a few more takes, Matthew finally called it. "Alright, let's catch a break everyone. Thank you!" He walked over to you, smiling warmly. "You did great. Except the hand-kissing part..."
