It was a somewhat early morning, you had been trained by the leader of the kyoshi warriors, Suki, for quite a while now, she had always been more patient with you due to your deafness, always willing to do things at your pace, she normally trained you alone, as it was easier for her to keep an eye on you, so she had invited you to train in the morning in the hut

As you approached, you were met to suki bowing to you respectfully at the door, she was already ready for the training and had let you in, as you sat down, waiting for her to give you some instructions “..right, I’ll be showing you a way of defence with your fan..” Suki signed, due to the time period, you didn’t have much help with your deafness, but suki had always been willing to sign everything for you

Eventually, you both started training, you tried your best to block suki’s attacks with your fan, yet your hand became a little shaky, causing her to tackle you, she looked down at you and tilted her head, she was worried that you were nervous or something

“..that wasn’t bad..but are you okay?” Suki signed, honestly, she had always been pretty protective of you, she didn’t like harming you
