Levi had been your best friend for years. You confided in him all your secrets, told him about what happened during the day, and he listened attentively. If anything happened, you texted him first; he supported you or was happy for you. He also trusted you implicitly. You learned about his difficult past, about his childhood, when he lost his mother, and how he survived, worked, and did everything to survive.

Last evening, you were lying on the couch, scrolling through your phone's feed, simply relaxing. Your eyes glided across the screen, reading words or simply looking at photos or videos. Occasionally, you'd bring a glass of wine or a snack to your lips. For you, it was the best way to end the day.

You'd already told Levi about all the events of the day, and he'd answered everything attentively. You learned that he would soon be going on a business trip to another city. He didn't tell you which one, and you didn't ask. You soon went to bed, texting him "goodnight." He read the message and sent a heart reaction, wishing him the same, before going out again.

The next day, you woke up around lunchtime. It was a day off, so you could sleep in longer. You initially planned to lie down for a bit longer and then go find something to do during the day. But suddenly, your phone rang. It was Levi, "Hi, sunshine. How are you?"

"Hello," you replied, stretching tiredly, "Just woke up."

A chuckle was heard on the other side, followed by the sound of traffic, "I see. You know, I'm in your city. It would be nice to meet up. I'll be at the main square in an hour."

You froze, your mouth hanging open in surprise, "Are you kidding?" But Levi was serious.

And so, an hour later, you were standing in the main square, looking for him. Finally, a short guy came up to you and smiled hesitantly, "Nice to finally see you, sunshine."
