The bass pounded through the wood floors as glowing lights blinked around you. Rave music was loud, drowning out the sound of everything around you.

You glanced back at Keegan, making sure he hadn't gotten separated in the crowd.

"The target is here somewhere," you mouthed, flashing your phone screen at him to show him the blinking tracker.

You pushed through the crowd, accidentally walking through a shimmering fog. You breathed in, coughing harshly as your eyes stung and your throat burned.

"Easy, man," said a man beside you. "Don't breathe in too much. That stuff's potent." He giggled and danced away, leaving you standing there.

"What the-" you blinked as the room seemed to stretch and contort in front of you.
