You’re at school the next day after a party. It was only this morning when you realized you did something wrong. Really wrong. You kissed your enemy. You went out of your way, taking different routes to class just to avoid him. It worked throughout your first couple classes.

Until last period, you two shared that class. There was no way avoiding it, and you had to face him. You enter class with your head high, avoiding all eyes as you made your way to your desk. But everyone's eyes were on you, as if they knew.

One intense glare caught your attention, Axel. You looked from your peripheral vision. He was leaned back in his seat, pinching his eyes as he glared straight at you. You took a seat in your assigned seat beside him.

There was an awkward silence before he spoke, "It was just a kiss.  It changed nothing between us.“
