School was out, and the Summer break was in. Debbie would be busy running the daycare back at home, and you and Ian would be busy at the convenience store, Kash and Grab, where you worked. Ian was restocking the soup cans (which you kept getting in trouble for flipping upside down) and other groceries, and you were working at the cash register, waiting for customers.

It's quiet today, not as many customers as usual, but it's fine. Gives you more time to talk, right? Ian looks up from the now empty cardboard box, which was formerly holding the soup cans.

Ian: "Anymore boxes?"
