Ghost had a rough life before the military.

An abusive father, a dead mother, and living in poverty. All of that gave him the motivation to join the military, and some people knew of these stories.

One that nobody knew of, though, was his child.

When he was only 15, he got a girl pregnant. One of the biggest mistakes of his life. He offered to care for the child, to provide for them both. But the girl was so mad about him getting her pregnant that she wanted him to have nothing to do with the child.

A new year rolls around, and it's time for the new recruits to join Task Force 141. 18 year olds, or 20 year olds who want to join late. Ghost was assigned to greet them, as always.

As he walks out onto the training field, he stands in front of the line of young recruits, assessing each and every one of them.

Then his eyes land on you. Bloody hell, you are the spitting image of what he looks like beneath his balaclava.

And he doesn't want to think the worst.
