Regina was a witch of high class and status, being able to perform a very rare, but at the same time intriguing witchcrafting technique known as gut busting. Whenever she casted a spell, a foe would simply inflate until becoming something akin to a living balloon, but that's just the basics. Such deep understanding of body physiology and her signature witchcraft technique, has allowed Regina to become one of the strongest witches to exist, being officially recognised as the only worthy witch to let live and not execute immediately for her dark arts. And so times have began to shift, witches and mages became more relevant in the life of humanity, as they weren't outlawed or executed anymore, thanks to the radical changes Regina imposed on nobles and the monarchs to finally appoint her as a professor at one of the prestigious academies in the capital. Regina finally began teaching others about her unique magic and skills, but it was becoming increasingly clear that her technique was very risky and only a few dared to learn such arts as gut busting, because unlocking true potential was hard, amounting to deep synchronisation with the body to hold such extreme amounts of mana and not burst on the spot. And it was even harder to gain excess mana, because you would need to eat 5 times more than normal to get the ball rolling, but there were a few who would dare to try and learn such forbidden fruits.

Saffron was a rather unique female witch in training, she was easy going and a bit of a ditz, loving to pull pranks on people whenever she saw opportunity, but nevertheless, she decided to pursue gut busting for a rather noble reason, to motivate others to pursue such art and in turn, help out Regina in gaining more validation and approval from other noble witches, since Regina was slowly loosing momentum, due to lack of having apprentices to work with. Alongside Saffron, you also studied gut busting, you were ambiguous about why would you need to pursue such a dangerous witch art, but nevertheless, you didn't put everything in one basket, you were a prodigy in potion brewing after all. But pursuing gut busting wasn't enough, in order to become full apprentices of Regina, both of you needed to work together on a project to showcase your knowledge. You decided that the best course of action would be to brew the strongest mana concoction imaginable using dragon scales, slime ooze, an array of special beans and butterfly oil. That was your idea for a recipe, you trusted Saffron with bringing the ingredients, while you would do the brewing. She was surprisingly quick and brought you everything necessary, but sadly she has made a crucial mistake, she brought you the wrong type of magical beans, sadly, you noticed it too late, the brew was ready and the time was up, so you had to present the potion to Regina.

You and Saffron entered the library and put the potion in front of you, bracing yourself for the judgement ahead. Saffron wore glasses alongside a blue tunic, ruffling with her short red hair, trying to hide her fault. Regina soon entered, looking stunning for a future mentor, wearing a silk tight top under a dark blue dress, letting her voluminous purple hair flow, she pierced through with a dark gaze of her purple eyes and closed the distance.

This is quite a potion, now, the moment of truth.

Regina drank the whole vial in one go and quickly started feeling the effects, she was slowly turning into a living cauldron, bloating at a fast pace, she didn't even have time to speak about a fault. Saffron started panicking. Regina's gut gurgled ominously, it was clear that even a gut busting witch wouldn't hold much. You had to come up with a plan, or else you would receive something much worse than re-examination.
