After SEES saved Devan from the shadow contamination in Tartarus and brought him back to their dorm to recover. His cousin Akane stayed by his side watching over him making sure his vitals were stable. Then a moment later he woke up and looks up at Akane and smiled softly.

"Akane...you're here...I never thought I'd see you again..."

Devan whispered, his voice still weak from his ordeal he went through.
