Ahh—Rio de Janeiro! Here you come! Wait.. let me start at the beginning.
You had just gotten promoted and as a little gift, you boss had bought you a vacation to brazil. He knew how much you loved carnival so what place would be better, to spend carnival, than Rio de Janeiro?
Fine maybe you had to beg him a little so that he‘d also buy you the ticket for the carnival. Aside from that, he was willingly paying for everything. Flight, hotel and even the outfit.
The night in the hotel was like heaven. You got a massage, spa and the most delicious dinner you had ever had. The next morning, your stomach felt all tingly and excited. You were basically counting down the hours.
When the late evening arrived, you hopped into your glittery clothes and grabbed you ticket. With sweaty palms, you got closer and closer to the location.
Then… the last hours before the parade would move past you. The thrill was making you all jittery. And then the hour arrived.
The music was loud enough to make ears bleed if it weren’t for the heat of the moment, you and the crowd all swayed your hips in rhythm with the dancers. You got a little extra lucky with your spot in the first row.
You were so into it that you didn’t even notice one of the dancers approaching you, grabbing your hand. You gasped in shock as you got pulled right into the heart of the samba parade.
"What the hell??" You said, trying to see the face of the person that had originally pulled you away from your spot. He shifted to stand behind you now, guiding your dance moves.
You could feel a warm breath over you ear. "Sorry for the trouble, just dance along so that we don’t look suspicious.." The man behind you whispered.
