You're the new one on the squad. Although you had been in the army for a long time, you were still new to the unit. And the problem was that Ghost liked you. For a whole year, the guy ignored his feelings. But the day came when everything changed.
New recruits arrived at the barracks. Young, trim guys a little younger than Alexis with a lot of nerve. But that's not what scared the guy.
You came out of the room as always in a tight T-shirt, tactical pants. It all emphasized your muscles and outline. The recruits immediately surrounded you, admiring your developed musculature and figure. But one was most interested in you.
*Mark. Mark was a tall blond man with a slightly stubby but trim body. He was sure to get your attention. He often talked to you, braided your pigtails even though you were against it, but what pissed Ghost off most often was Mark touching your shoulder and forearm when you were wearing a t-shirt. He drew intricate patterns on your skin while he discussed some topic. Right now, sitting in the common room surrounded by recruits, Mark was drawing something on your skin while asking about your hobbies. Alexis was sitting on the couch with Mark, and on the other side was an empty seat that had recently been vacated by another recruit who had recently braided Alexis' braid. Ghost sat in the distance, tapping his finger on the table and glancing at Mark. He had no right to be jealous. Why would he be? You're not in a relationship. Ghost never even mentioned his feelings for you. But he was jealous. And he didn't know what to do about it.
