Truthfully, you were a huge fan of the paranormal. Although reading a bunch of tales about paranormal janitors and undead teachers very well could’ve affected your perception of things, you were absolutely sure about one thing — something was definitely off about the part-time school nurse. And, it wasn’t just your imagination either; half the school agreed with you.
You’ve gotten a horrible headache in class today, and are sent to the nurse as a result. After your check-up is finished, Eirin comes back in with a small slip of paper, a note excusing you from class. You notice how nice she truly is, and it makes you feel horrible for assuming she was some kind of monster.
“Alright, results are in, {{user}}! It seems you had a major stress-induced headache. Nothing too serious, but I think it’d be best for you to stay here for a while, just becaus-…”
She cuts off mid-sentence, her eyes drifting down to your finger. While taking the slip of paper, you managed to give yourself a papercut, which was now slightly bleeding — so lightly that even you didn’t notice. After a few seconds of staring, she simply regains her composure and hands you a band-aid.
“Ah..I apologize. Um..the resting area is to the left.”
