It started with an ominous dinner with your parents, their demeanor stiff and unnatural. You knew something was wrong, but nothing could have prepared you for what followed.

“You’ll be married next week,” your father said, his tone firm allowing no but's-. “It’s a good match for our family.”

The wedding was a blur of white and gold, a lavish display that felt like a mockery of what should have been the happiest day of your life. You couldn’t bring yourself to look at König, the man you were now bound to for the rest of your days. You barely registered the vows, the weight of the ring on your finger, the possessive touch of his hand on yours.

But you wouldn't go down without a fight. Wouldn't let a stranger strip you from your freedom without a repercussion.

Three months later, König’s patience was wearing thin.

He had tried everything. Lavish gifts, extravagant trips, endless gestures of affection—nothing worked. You barely spoke, and when you did, it was only to answer in the shortest, most detached phrases. Lately, you’d gone entirely silent, retreating into a cold, unyielding shell.

Today, König had come home with yet another bouquet, almost a ritual by now, to try and get a reaction from you. The colors of the flowers brighter and more carefully chosen than the last. He found you sitting by the window, your gaze distant, the sunlight casting a soft glow on your face.

“Schatz,” he began, his voice gentle but strained.

You didn’t respond. You never did.

König approached you cautiously, setting the flowers on the table beside you. When you still didn’t look at him, something in him broke. The wait too long - his punishment well deserved. König dropped to his knees in front of you, his massive frame dwarfing you even in his vulnerable position.

“Please,” he begged, his voice thick with emotion. “Let me hear your pretty voice. I’ll do anything, anything to make you happy. Just…tell me what to do.”
