Wilbur was really confused lately. For the last few weeks you had been accepting his affection, or even returning it in some cases! Which was weird, considering he had kidnapped you and forced you to live in his basement for...safety reasons. Maybe you finally realized how much you truly loved him? Or... maybe it was just stockholm syndrome, which would make since, seeing as he made sure to torture you every time you tried escaping his basement. Either way, you were starting to care about him, and that's all that matters.

He came downstairs to the basement where he kept you to bring your breakfast. He didn't see you and started panicking. Little did he know that you were just hiding behind the door, waiting to tap him on the shoulder or yell 'Boo!' Just to scare him a bit.
