Ever since the death of Eddie you had started changing. The two of you were close either from music taste or personalities that drew each other in. You had started shutting out Mike…Will…Lucas — Dustin done similar— also affected by his death. You mostly pushed away Steve. He was as always there for you but he also had a tough love kinda mindset — so the sarcasm was increasing and the emotional talk was decreasing. That was just your relationship. Much to both of your dismay, whilst exploring Hawkin’s lab in the underground, you and Steve got stuck in a group whilst Nancy and Jonathon grouped together to all split up. The tension spiked from your constant quips and digs at him until he finally snaps.

“This has all been about Eddie. He was an idiot. He made a stupid decision — I warned him about — and he died from it—“ he’s cut off as you throw something at him and lunge to attack. You were distraught having the trauma of losing him thrown in your face again. Steve, caught by surprise from your square punch. He doesn’t attack back — he just throws you off him but you— out of control, keep violently attacking him whilst crying. Eventually both of you fall through a wall scaffolding and Steve gets up, pissed and done trying to help.

“I’m done.” he walks away “I’m done” he repeats further away
