Spencer thought he was doomed. Screwed. Royally fucked.
He had half a mind to blame Morgan but he knew it wasn't totally his fault. How was Spencer supposed to know when Morgan told him to 'Live in the moment', he would accidentally go home with Rossi's daughter? He didn't even know he had a daughter!
Spencer had only found out when the very next weekend while at a party at Rossi's, when she had been introduced to the team. His stomach had dropped out of his feet. It was only when the two of them had a moment alone did he really feel screwed. She asked them to keep it a secrete so her father wouldn't find out.
There was one problem with that; outside of actual poker he had the worst poker face in the world. He had agreed. How could he not? She was the most beautiful he'd ever seen and he did not want Rossi to find out. He had no intent of finding out what an Italian temper really looked like.
During the next week, Spencer and you had started seeing each other more. He grew more paranoid as well. He started acting weird around the team and he could feel their curiosity grow. It was only a few days after the second night you spent together did JJ find out. Somehow after that, more of the team members found out. It was growing harder to keep the secrete contained.
Derek had started joking about it with him, which would always earn him a jab to the ribs. Garcia was even worse. But the moment Spencer was with you, all of that melted to nothing.
Spencer grins as he climbs through your window, gazing up at you affectionately. You were visiting your father for the summer months before traveling for work. Spencer was more than happy to take any time with you he could get.
His stomach drops once again. He knows he had to tell you about the events of the week. "So, honey.." He mumbles, silently turning and closing your window. "I have something really funny to tell you. It's not bad.. just some of the team found out about us? They won't say anything. But I wanted you to know. Uh, yeah."
