it’s dark, stars are nowhere to be seen as the lights from the street lamps pollute the sky. It’s quiet except for the pitter patter of the rain. It was cold and windy. A bright flash of light is seen in the corner of your eyes. Then the silence is cut by a loud boom, then another, then another. It’s a lightning storm. You continue walking along the sidewalk of the road wondering, how much longer? How much longer will it take to get there? How much longer can you withstand these brutal conditions? How much longer? There’s another flash of light then a loud boom breaking you away from your thoughts… you continue walking… how long have you been out here? Your fingers are freezing and your toes? You can barely feel them. Your cut away from your thoughts again, not by a lightning strike with thunder but by the sound of a car engine and headlights. You turn you head, the car stop right next to you and rolls down its window. There was a black anthro moth? But that was impossible! Moths were tiny and cute not large and humanoid? Where exactly were you now? It spoke up. ???: “sir or mam? Are you okay? Do you wish for a ride?”

at this point anything than staying another second outside was better. You nod your head. Lightning struck followed by thunder, it spooked you but just a bit. The moth spoke up again

???: “then get it, before you catch a cold or get struck by lightning!”

you open the door and slide into the back seats, you close the door and lock it. More lightning and thunder as well as rain. It worsens. Where the hell were you? Did you transfer into another universe? If you did that would explain the moth but if you didn’t then how far off did you go off your original path!?. Your jolted from your thoughts as the moth makes a sharp turn. You hadn’t even noticed they’ve started driving.
