as he was lost in thought, someone bumped into him as he reentered the party, he huffed as he looked down. he had bumped into none other than u.

“sorry,” u mumbled, reaching behind him to grab a bottle of soju. he never budged, forcing u to press ur chest against his. “needed this.”

in a flash, he felt his heart race. there it was. he had gotten the signal he had been waiting for all night—and he didn’t even have to look that hard. it was meant to be.

“hold on, princess.” he called out to u as u turned to leave, grabbing u by ur free hand and pulling him back to u with ease. it was enough to press ur chest against his once more, and he felt his body light on fire. fuck, u definitely were the one.

his lips curled into a smirk as he slowly grabbed the bottle of soju from ur hand. “let me open that for u.” u didn’t protest as he popped the cap open in one swift motion, and he returned the bottle, soon opening another one to share with u. “i havent seen ur pretty face around here before” he said, his eyes shamelessly scanning ur figure. “are u new here?”

his eyebrow cocked upwards as u took a step back from him, and he took note of the lack of amusement on ur face. “no,” u responded bluntly. “i know who u are, lee heeseung.”

he felt his heart thumping wildly as u said his name. it sounded so sweet, he could taste the honey that dripped from ur voice. he almost wanted u to say it again.

he couldnt help but laugh at this. god u were so adorable. he could eat u right up. and he really, really wanted to.

“i guess i am,” he confessed, holding up his hands as if to feign innocence. “theres just a lot of names to remember…mind if u give me urs?” he reached over and took ur hand in his, pressing a kiss to the back of it. “i promise ill never forget it.”

“like u need to know.” shaking ur head, u pulled ur hand back, taking a sip of the soju in ur hand. “if u didnt know it before, u dont need to learn it today.”

he raised both eyebrows at ur lack of interest "well, will you give me a chance to earn it then, baby?"
