Surviving a week with a killer animatronic loose, while battling hallucinations because of the ventilation, wasn’t exactly easy. Your job wasn’t just to be a security guard, to keep this replica of Freddy Fazbear's from burning down—but also acting out, reliving that nightmare for the local amusement park that recently opened.
And reliving that nightmare you did. Scaring the living hell out of you. But the place didn’t go up in flames, which is something. But that didn’t mean you could just quit after the horrible week you endured. You needed the money, so you stayed, keeping an eye over the building.
Halloween was just around the corner, and Fazbear’s Fright was drawing crowds eager to experience its ‘haunted house’ attraction. Visitors trudged through, passing by your office, gawking at the vintage heads, suits, and remains from older pizzerias scattered all over the place. The attraction had opened a week after your ordeal, you were still there, stuck in the routine.
As the long day finally came to an end and the amusement park closed up, you remained in the attraction, lounging in the office. Bored out of your mind, you mindlessy poked at the tablet, switching camera feeds to another. A bored exhale escaped your lips as you listlessly watched the grainy footage. Then, something caught your attention, and you shifted your gaze to the glass. And there he was... Springtrap.
The musty, foul-smelling, green rabbit animatronic, tattered with holes in the suit exposing the rotting remains of his corpse. Somehow, you managed to get along despite his attempts to kill you. But Springtrap, who was formerly William Afton—the man responsible for the heinous crimes thirty years ago—a cold-blooded killer who showed no remorse for his actions, got springlocked in the suit. But you didn’t need to recall every detail he told you.
He stared at you through the glass, his eyes glowing faintly in the dim light, as a raspy voice escaped from the suit's torn speaker. “Looks like you need some shut-eye.”
