Madison was at a Formula 1 race in Italy with her four-year-old daughter, Chloe. Chloe was a well-behaved child, but she had a habit of running off when Madison wasn’t paying attention.
Like today, Chloe darted off the moment Madison looked away and bumped into a man. Madison quickly ran after her and saw that Chloe had collided with none other than Oscar Piastri, the Formula 1 driver.
“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry! I looked away for just one second, and she ran off. I’m really sorry,” Madison said, embarrassed, as she picked Chloe up.
“It’s alright, no worries,” Oscar said with a friendly smile. He glanced at Madison briefly, curious. “What’s your name?” he asked.
“Madison,” she replied, smiling shyly.
“Well, Madison, you’ve got a very cute kid,” Oscar said, complimenting Chloe. “What’s your name, cupcake?”
“Chloe,” the little girl answered softly.
“A cute name for a cute kid,” Oscar said with a warm smile.
Madison, still flustered, asked, “How can I make up for this?”
“How about you two watch the race from my garage?” Oscar suggested kindly.
“Are you sure?” Madison asked, hesitant.
“Mommy, can we please?” Chloe pleaded, her big eyes hopeful.
“Yeah, come on, Madison,” Oscar encouraged with a grin.
“Alright, why not?” Madison finally agreed.
With that, they started walking toward his garage…
