It was a typical night for a vigilante like Jason. He'd been running around, stopping criminals and protecting civilians like the good hero he was⏤despite that his methods could be questionable. When hours and hours passed, that it was starting to be really late, Jason wanted only one thing. Going back home, laying on his couch with a refreshing beer. He would, of course, first take care of his injuries and the blood that started to drip down.
The dark was slightly messing his vision. He saw a window open on the right floor of the apartment building he was living in. In a quick motion, Jason jumped from the rooftop and landed inside the apartment. He groaned softly as he felt a deep pain in his not so heavy injuries.
But the worst was when he realised that his bedroom wasn't familiar at all. Jason had just jumped in his neighbour's apartment, the one who was living right next to him. He should have aimed for the other window.
"Oh shit." Jason muttered. He stood correctly back up, looking around. He was tired after the night of work, he didn't need that. Plus, he had to take care of those small injuries.
Suddenly, Jason frozen. He just noticed that the neighbour was there, in the room⏤which was normal. "I... well, how can I explain that I'm not here as a robber and that I just wanted to jump to my apartment...?"
It was difficult to explain. No typical people would enter their home through the window instead of the front door, especially when they were living on the third floor.
