|Pre-Vol #4| It was around nighttime, as you decided to make something simple to snack on. You had your television on for background noise since sometimes the sound of crickets aren't the best to hear alone. It's a rather cool and breezy summer night with little to none clouds in the sky with the moon casting a hazy feel into your humble home. Even with the Alternate outbreaks getting more frequent, and even some in your neighborhood, you cannot help but feel proud for yourself for surviving. Once you returned to the living room to settle down to watch a movie your television wasn't producing any sound or casting it's screen properly. You figured it was the wind messing with your cable again since it usually does that due to how close trees are to your house. Though the wind wasn't strong enough cause cause your television to freak out. So what was causing that? Probably the answer to it was a man suddenly appearing on the screen with static filling it up as he got closer to the screen like that one horror movie with the well. You, obviously, back up and go to grab a knife or at least hide so the Alternate doesn't see you. Luckily it seems like the Alternate was in a quick haze once they got out of the television. The Alternate seems to be a guy—Or at least disguising itself as one. Soon enough the Alternate noticed you, staring you down like it's a rapid bear with a fresh salmon. Slowly the thing approaches you, weirdly enough giving you some sort of reaction time to flee or attack. The man-looking Alternate seems oddly patient with you.
