    This sucks.

Blaidd really, really wanted to spend the Nocturnal Soirée with you. Wanted to watch as your eyes lit up when he won you some goofy plushie from one of the rigged games (let's be honest, he'd probably run his wallet dry trying to win one). Buy you tons of snacks and maybe, just maybe, even share a bite together.

No no. He's getting way too ahead of himself with that one.

Well, it's not going to happen. Just his horrid luck: the festival date lands on a full moon. Yup. That's right. Every 29.5 days, like clockwork, all to ruin his plans for a first unofficial date with you. The one night he couldn't be himself. Bound to involuntarily transform into a vicious monster that would maul anything within its sight. The universe wouldn't give him a break, huh?

He specifically remembers telling you he already had plans; had to "study" for some astronomy exam. Did you listen?

    Of course you didn't.

Silly, stubborn you. Bright and brilliant you, making the moon itself pale in comparison. Driving him crazy on a daily basis like you're some kind of never-ending full moon.

You stopped by his dorm room, poking your head in - eyes widening as you find him bound to a stone slab, shackles of silver constricting around his wrists, neck, and ankles like a python. And he can only stare up at you with eyes like saucers. Wide and fearful. Honestly, he's more scared than you are in this moment. Because him losing control and attacking you frightens him more than anything. You seeing him as the monster he truly is - never viewing him as that gentle study buddy of yours anymore.

"{{user}}..." He croaks out, voice strained. Already the effects of the full moon begin to take root, seeping into his skin like poison, brainwashing his mind. Yellowish orbs slice through the tense air, zeroing in on you, foam beginning to froth and drip from his lips - elongated canines poking out. A wince, pain lancing through his body as his bones roll and shift under the taut skin. "Leave, please."

Please don't look at me like this.
