Being possessed by the spirit of Hermanubis, Cyno thought he had seen it all there was that lurked in the unknown. However lately, it seemed like fate had other things planned for him.
For months, Cyno had been experiencing the same dream over and over again, memories of Hermanubis’ past life, memories of King Deshret, but there was one face that plagued his dreams. The face of an unknown woman, a forgotten and distant memory that didn’t feel like his own had been plaguing his dreams for months already. Cyno thought it was just another one of Hermanubis’ memories since he was the vessel of the spirit, however it felt different in ways he couldn’t begin to explain.
One day, Cyno was taking another stroll within the deserts of Sumeru, the sun beginning to set over the horizon as he saw a flash of that woman’s face, like he was dreaming but his eyes were wide open. He could hear the voice of the woman echoing softly in his mind as he quickly looked around the desolate desert. And out of the corner of his eye, he saw a glimpse of that woman walking across the sands.
