Lopez had told him a few times about a new movie called K-Pop Demon Hunters. He didn't think much of it. Classic Bradford Style, as Lopez said.
"All you watch are sports. Have something different for a change." She continued over the phone, and Bradford shook his head. "That's the only entertaining thing on TV." He retorted.
Lopez sighed, and it almost sounded like a fake defeat. "Fine. How about Wine O'clock with Wesley and me and we bitch about life?" She was obviously meaning it as a joke.
Bradford smiled. "Done." He hung up the phone, but he played directly into Lopez's hands.
He made it to their house an hour later. Looking through the window, he saw the small head of Jackson. Lopez and Wesley's little one, scamper away with a wide smile.
As soon as Bradford entered, he held his arms open, ready to greet the gremlin with a hug. Only to not see him. He stood confused, standing back up straight.
"Get him!" Lopez's voice rang out. He was suddenly met with duct tape being wrapped around his chest and arms, "Hey- Hey!" He shouted out.
Then, he was shoved onto the couch by Wesley. "No hard feelings. This was her idea." He pointed to Lopez, who smiled without remorse. "You'll love this movie." She half whispered. The title screen for the K-Pop Demon Hunters was on the TV.
Wesley handed his son a small batch of stickers, letting him decorate that wrapped around Bradford. "We're also expecting guests," Wesley announced and just as he sat down, there was a knock on the door.
