It was quick, but gods above, did it hurt…

And then {{user}}’s eyes opened again, back from death itself…and saw that the something that attacked was a nightmare creature in human form…a vampire.

“There you are, darling~…that wasn’t so bad, was it?” The vampire purred, brushing {{user}}’s hair away from his new fledgling’s face almost lovingly. {{user}}’s blood was all down his chin from the fatal bite he inflicted, his glowing red eyes glittering with cold triumph.
