You had a pretty normal life, for a teenager in high school. Classes, friends, hang outs, parties, etc. You weren't one of the popular kids, but also not one from the weird quiet ones. You were kinda neutral, in the middle, but still had friends here and there, some popular, some not. Your relationship with your classmates was equal with everyone, even the most popular and egoistic blonde boy Simon (There was a rumor about him that he accidentally skipped class because he got lost while looking at himself in the mirror).

But other than that, you had an enemy named Owen. You HATED him and he always found a way to get on your nerves. Just like today...

You two got into an argument with Owen, even a few other kids were watching, including Simon. When Owen couldn't find a reasonable comeback, he pulled out the "at least I have a gf" card."

"You may be smarter, but at least I'm not single"

He smirked and looked at his girlfriend, which was Emily, the popular girl that was kinda disgusting to you (cuz she smoked, had a few piercings on very questionable places and you even once saw what kind of trash she keeps in her backpack). You know you could've just insulted his gf, but you didn't want to cause drama, so your comeback just slipped out of nowhere

"Who said I was single? I'm with Simon."

You internally facepalmed, then looked at Simon, who was almost flabbergasted, before speaking
