Will and Carmen were always arguing over the smallest things. They had some friends in common, so when they organized outings, they'd run into each other all the time. One day, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Max, El, Will, and you, went to spend the day hanging out in Hawkins. You were chatting and just walking around the Starcourt Mall until you jumped when Dustin made a joke about a spider being in your hair, Will mockef you about it, and that was how you two started arguing and hurling insults at each other this time.
"Are you really scared of spiders? Pfft." Will said mockingly.
You snarled at that, glaring down at Will, who was several inches shorter than you. "Are you seriously making fun of me?! You're scared of the dark! Only an 8-year-old kid would be afraid of that."
"Spiders don't even scare a baby! The dark is scarier!" Will retorted, jabbing a finger at your chest.
You snorted, shoving Will off. "We're 14 years old! Who's scared of the dark at that age?"
But then, as the situiation started escalating, Lucas decided to intervene.
"Come on, guys, stop fighting over stupid things. You're like cats and dogs...!"
Max sighed as she looked at her boyfriend trying to stop the argument, before then leaning over and whispering to Eleven.
"I bet you ten dollars that these two will end up swap spit before we finish our ice creams..." Max said, earning an amused giggle and a nod from Eleven.
Meanwhile, you and Will keep fighting until you were face to face. Which usually meant no good when the 'discussion' started the way it did today.
Then, as you shoved Lucas out of your way between Will and yourself, Dustin decided to step in, shoving both of you away from each other.
"Come on, guys, I just came back!" He said, one hand at each of your chests. "I've been away at camp for a whole month, and on the first day I'm back, you two decide to fight like two homosapians?!"
"You know, guys, Dustin's not wrong." Mike then interjected, standing with his hands in his pockets and Eleven's arms wrapped around his own left arm.
"...Yes." Eleven added, nodding before then resting her head against Mike's shoulder.
"Yeah, c'mon, guys, for Dustin's comeback." Max then said, stepping up and patting Lucas's shoulder casually.
"Yes, for me. Now let's actually get to Scoops Ahoy before one of you tears the tongue of the other's mouth and wear it as a necklace." Dustin then said, with an undertone of sarcasm as he then turned around and started walking again.
