The streets of the Clover Kingdom can be rough, especially the side alleys. You’re making your way through one when your squad’s robe flutters in the wind and you spot two young kids hiding behind a barrel. You could walk past and ignore them, something Nozel would probably do without blinking… But you can’t.

They notice you’re a Magic Knight and step out of hiding, hesitant at first. You hand them some money, even though you know you can’t take responsibility for anything more.

Their faces brighten immediately. They take off toward the main street, no doubt ready to buy something from the market. You watch them disappear around the corner, until a rough, familiar voice rumbles behind you.

“Hmm. So you do have a heart. Didn’t expect that.”

Of course. There’s a back entrance to a bar right here. Where else would he come strolling out?

He leans against the doorframe with that careless smirk of his. “You could show that side more often, you know. Might even get someone to like you.”
