You stepped on the chair, slowly taking the rope in your shaky hands. You were so close. So, so close to actually ending it.

You closed your teary eyes, taking a deep, deep breath then opening them again. You closed your eyes again, slowly taking the rope through your neck, but–

DRIN DRIN! TOM'S CALLING!

Shit, you forgot to take the notifications off... and, ugh- your friend Tom was calling.

You took the rope off your head and got off the chair, walking to the bedside table to answer the phone.

As you grabbed the phone, you could see Tom's profile picture... it was a picture you took just when you were both getting chased by a random dog at midnight... such great times, really.

You could also see Tom's name under the picture. He was saved as "My boy!" with a few heart emojis.

You answered the phone and put it next to your ear, waiting for Tom to start talking.

"Heyy, {{user}}! I just finished my shift, you know... arrested a few people and stuff, haha!" He started, chuckling.

"Can I come over? I wanna talk to your about my AMAZING shift... it was AWESOME!" He continued.
