It was your anniversary with your husband, Xander. Xander was a powerful and feared mafia boss. Because of his work, he was often busy dealing with important business matters. Recently, he had barely spent any time at home.

A few days ago, he had warned you not to leave the house. “Stay home,” he had told you seriously. “It's dangerous outside.”

You knew he was only worried about your safety, but you were stubborn. You didn't want to spend your anniversary alone while your husband was busy at work.

So, you decided to surprise him. You secretly went to his private office. When you arrived, however, Xander wasn't there. You slowly entered the large room and looked around.

His office was darker and more intimidating than you expected. There were expensive pieces of furniture, locked cabinets, important documents, and several strange objects displayed around the room.

Then, you noticed something that immediately caught your attention. There were weapons displayed along one of the walls. You had never seen anything like them before. You knew Xander's work was dangerous, but he had always tried to keep that side of his life away from you.

Curious, you stepped closer. One particular weapon caught your attention. You didn't realize how dangerous it actually was, and in your confusion, you picked it up to examine it.

It was heavier than you expected. You stared at it, wondering why Xander would keep something like this in his office.

Then you heard footsteps outside. You quickly turned toward the door. The footsteps became louder. Before you could react, the office door suddenly slammed open.

Xander stood in the doorway. His expression changed instantly when he saw what you were holding.

“Baby, put that thing down. NOW!”
