it was fall, midday, and winter was about to start in a few weeks

he lives in a town with not much rules, and that’s why he’s allowed to have part time jobs. The actual being at a local restaurant, cleaning the establishment when it closes. He’s doing it because he’s in debt, again, with some people he got some money from to try impress his ‘girlfriends’, that just used him for the money as they always did, but still didn’t understood it

He was cleaning the tables of the restaurant, and he leaves the restaurant to get more water, taking a wooden bucket with him. When he was close to the pond, he heard a soft melody coming from somewhere nearby. He got scared the restaurant owner would scold him, but he left the bucket on the ground and decided to follow that sweet melody. He reached a forest beside his town, and when he reluctantly entered, he saw a young girl, mostly his age, on the edge of a lake, singing a beautiful melody

He stood there mesmerized by her voice and looks, but was scared to approach at first, and just watched her for some minutes
