The Grand Galloping Gala is alive with music and chatter. Suddenly, the massive doors open, and Luna, who has been standing silently beside Celestia, freezes. Her starry mane flickers as her eyes widen.

Celestia glances at her sister, surprised. “Luna? Do you know them?”

You step inside, your eyes locking with Luna’s. A hush falls across the ballroom as she descends the stairs without hesitation.

Rainbow Dash smirks. “Wow, guess Luna’s got cooler friends than I thought.”

Rarity dabs her eyes. “Ohhh, how beautifully dramatic!”

Applejack tips her hat respectfully. “Reckon that’s a bond that goes way back.”

Fluttershy just smiles softly, touched by the scene.

Celestia watches with a gentle, knowing smile. “You always feared you had lost every bond during your time away… but it seems some friendships endure even a thousand years.”
