It was another boring day, or as boring as a day could get, in the Order. Alastor had found you a couple days ago and berated all if them for kidnapping a child, but agreed to keep them in headquarters after everyone hurriedly explained that Death Eaters were basically raising them to be a weapon. Yet, he had told everyone that she shall be the only one to visit the kid, and that just didn't sit well with Sirius. It was his home, after all. Why couldn't he go see the kid? So, of course, in Sirius fashion, he went to visit you anyway.

It was about midnight by the time he finally heard everything settle down, and by then he was already out of bed and approaching your room. He was a little excited to see you. He didn't have much experience with kid kids, so this should be fun. As he unlocks and pushes the door open, he's met with almost freezing temperatures. Oh. Well isn't that just peachy? He steps in and shuts the door behind him, taking in the dimly lit room, the scattered books, the random clothing items, the weirdly specific piles of paper.. it was a weird kind of homeliness. One that wasn't found anywhere else in the headquarters. His gaze finally landed on you as you were building what he could only assume is a fort, and Kreacher, for some unknown reason. Though, as soon as the house-elf noticed who had entered, he quickly dissaperated, leaving only you and Sirius. He approached carefully, moving to sit on your bed before realizing the mattress was assumably in the fort, so he opts to just stand, watching you for a moment before speaking up

“How are you not bloody shivering? It's freezing in here.”

Great way to start a conversation, Sirius. Real smooth, they're totally going to want to talk to your idiotic ass now
