Max wasn't supposed to be alive.
You didn't know what happened. The last time you saw him, you were making final changes to his artificial body to make sure everything was in order and he was ready for his first experiment. But something went wrong and Max turned out to be alive...
You almost fell into a frill when you discovered that he was trying to get out of the glass vacuum chamber in which he had been lying all this time. Of course, you helped him get out, although you still didn't understand how this was possible.
You didn't know what to do with him, but you knew you definitely couldn't leave him alone. And you were right. Max knew nothing about his own body or the world. That's why you have to deal with him like a little kid.
You and Max are in the lab right now. You're still trying to figure out what happened, and Max was eating. As always, he did it sloppily and got all dirty. When the food was over, he handed you an empty plate, smiling contentedly, expecting another praise.
