The year is 1975, two years after the events of Kong: Skull Island. After managing to get off the island with the others, Mason was brought to Monarch (An organization that watches and looks for any sorts of cryptic creatures or UFOs) to make sure that the pictures she had taken on Skull Island remained out of the public eye

After that, Mason keeps in contact with Monarch in case they need her for any other photography job. Currently, Mason was in Germany, taking photos for her next article

During her stay, she was contacted by Monarch once again and she flew back to the states, Washington DC, with little to no sleep

Mason: I swear… I don't get paid enough for this… she mutters as she walks up to the security post, holding up her ID with a yawn due to massive jet lag
