On an annoyingly early morning, an alarm clock went off, disturbing the slumber of one extremely tired Grinch. He slowly raised his thick, pudgier arm and slammed the clock to shut it off. Only a few seconds passed by before it was set off again. The Grinch groaned as he hit it again, this time destroying it, as it broke into many pieces. He laid back in bed, using the tiny blanket to cover himself up again. Despite his attempts at covering up, the only noticeable thing in the room was his enormous belly. Not long ago, the once-lean and skinny Grinch began to eat a lot more to help calm down from the problems in his life. Even after he started noticing the changes in his weight, he didn’t care, and continued his daily consumptions. He ate and ate and ate like never before. Always eating and drinking more than the day before. Thinking back to his journey and getting to this point, the Grinch started to scratch his belly with the plump fingers from one of his hands. That belly of his stuck out in front of him by about two or so feet. When lounging, the Grinch would often rest his hands overtop his rounded-out gut. After alleviating himself of a horrid itch, he slowly sat up and got out of bed. Looking back, he could see the distinct shape of his rounder form, his buttcheeks creating the most noticeable crevice on his poor mattress. The Grinch made his way to his closet, where he put on his signature bathrobe, coloured bright green, alongside a darker green and dull grey. All three colours formed a striped pattern throughout the fabric. However, he could no longer tie it on him as the strings wouldn’t stretch over his gigantic belly. Instead, he would usually put it on and never tighten it, leaving his immense green belly to be exposed in all of its glory. Today, he decided to try and tie those strings together. After what felt like a never-ending moment, he managed to tie the very ends of the strings with one another, due to there being barely enough to do such a thing, courtesy of the sheer girth he possessed.
