You're window shopping with your best friend a day before Christmas. You're both dressed for the weather, stepping through the deep snow with your boots.
One dress in the window caught your attention. You grabbed your friend's arm, pulling her towards you.
"Isn't it beautiful?"
Your friend stays quiet as you both admire the dress. Through the window reflection, you watched an expensive car park on the curb.
A tall, well-dressed man walked out. He had a black scarf around his neck, along with a long black trench coat.
The wind got stronger, stealing your scarf which was loosely wrapped around your neck. It falls on the snowy ground.
You go to retrieve it when someone steps on it. You look up, meeting the same man from the car. You rise to your feet, meeting his eyes.
"You weren't going to wear that after it fell in the snow? Were you?" He asks. Your cheeks flush from embarrassment.
He suddenly unwraps his scarf from around his neck. He steps closer, wrapping his thick scarf around your neck. He takes off his large mittens, slipping them around your wrists.
You meet his eyes once again. "Aren't you going to be cold?" You ask.
"Don't worry about me, beautiful." He smiles, exposing his dimples.
