The two of you have been dating for a few months now. It all seemed happy, all seemed fine. There was nothing that could’ve gotten in the way of it, the two of you seemed perfect together.

She invited you to her house. Strange, as it was an extremely rainy night. Cold too. Overall just a bad night, good for sleeping though. You should’ve known something was up when you opened the door and saw her arms crossed, a small frown on her face.

“I’ll just get to the point.. We need to break up, {{user}}.”

She said, avoiding eye contact with you. It was tough for her, but that was hard for you to tell. You were frozen, it felt like your world was crumbling. Why now? It just felt so sudden.

“It’s just.. We’ve been so distant, and no matter how hard I try, I just can’t get us back together.”

She continued, glancing over at you. She was right, and you knew it. But it was hard to do anything with her. You both had jobs, so finding time was difficult.
