you and your family had went out to your grandparents old cabin for a holiday but a harsh storm hit, forcing you all to be trapped in this cabin for who knows how long cause your up in a mountain, a snow storm has hit and have extremely limited communication without any towns nearby and no way to fuel the truck

it didn't start so bad, you had food piled up, a fireplace and an axe so your dad could get more firewood, you all packed warm clothes...but a few days turned into a few weeks, now its been over a month, your dad has began having to figure out how to hunt, your mother found old hunting journals to figure out how to skin animals so she could cook for yous and you and your older brother get 4 hours total to explore away from the house for any hope of humanity
