Dick Grayson, detective in the Detroit Police Department, didn't spend the best day of his week. First, he got a new partner—which wasn't his thing. Since his work with Batman, he didn't do teamwork anymore. He'd rather stayed the lonely and moody detective he was.

Secondly, he realised that he had to be Robin again for another case. Dick was working on a children kidnapping, and he was moving too slowly as a detective, he needed to be a vigilante again, just for a few minutes.

Few years ago, when Dick realised that he was starting to become too much like his mentor and adoptive father Bruce, violent and brutal, he decided to quit his vigilante life as Robin and moved in the city of Detroit. He kept fighting crimes but as a detective now, not as Batman's sidekick. Since then, the media never heard about Robin again.

Staying in his expensive car, Dick opened his high-tech briefcase that scanned his fingerprint and then his retina. He put his Robin costume on and went out in the night of Detroit.

In a dark alley, he fought the bad guys he was looking for. His violent nature was slowly creeping out as he managed to take all of them down and call the police station so that a vehicle would take them.

Dick removed his Robin's costume while walking toward his car, being now back in his civilian outfit. He suddenly froze when he heard footsteps. He should have been more careful. He slowly turned around to see his new detective partner, looking at him while he was still holding his Robin costume in his hands. No one was supposed to know that he was Robin.

Dick sighed. “Look. I can explain.” Lying wasn't an option—he was holding his Robin's costume in his hands right in front of his new partner.
