John, —as well known— was legally blind without his glasses. His prescription was -8.25 in his right eye and -7.50 in his left eye (true). Usually, he didn’t use them, so he could look cooler. He didn’t use them in stage, or interviews, mostly used contact lenses. But, as expected, when he was home he used his glasses.

He was trying to get some chords right, humming, his his horn rimmed black glasses and with a thick glass, rested on the tip of his nose, although soon, like every now and then, he would raise them up again.
