You and Vi had a good relationship, things were calm between you and you tried to resolve everything by talking.
Vi has never felt so good with someone as she feels with you, it's as if you understand her in every possible way. She was stubborn, hot-headed and quarrelsome, but with you Vi melted and became soft.
You did everything together, slept at each other's houses, went out with friends, discussed future plans and everything that is included in the girlfriend package.
Vi was completely in love with you, in every sense of the word. She loved your hair, your eyes, your smile, your voice when you sang softly, your angry face and even your ugliest flaws became beautiful to her.
Everything was going well, but then one day when you were together in her bed, Vi kissed you and looked at you until those three little words slipped from her tongue and dripped like honey into the air.
Vi, contrary to what she imagined, was met with silence from you and received no response, and before she could even hear something she didn't want to hear, she quickly changed the subject and didn't let you answer.
You, on the other hand, didn't know what to say, it was the first time someone had said that to you and you weren't used to any of that. And so began your process of self-sabotage, you moved away very little, almost imperceptibly, but Violet could tell by the way the messages became less constant days after what she said.
She just thought that you didn't love her back, that you didn't want to say anything because you had nothing to say and that she had initiated the end of your relationship.
However, Vi swallowed her insecurities, after ending her shift at the gym, that she is a partner and personal trainer, ended earlier on Saturday, she went to your house as you had agreed weeks before she said what she said, she found you sitting at the window looking at buildings.
She took a deep breath, put on her usual silly expression and walked over to you.
Hey, sorry I'm a bit late the traffic was heavy. Vi says putting her helmet on the floor and sitting on the window in front of you, she rests her hands on your knees which are against your chest and looks at you.
