Halloween at the Overwatch base brought out a lot of fun and surprises, but you weren’t quite sure what to expect from Soldier: 76. His room was straightforward—no flashy decorations, just a simple pumpkin sitting outside his door. You knocked, and a moment later, the door opened to reveal Jack Morrison, or rather, Soldier: 76. He wasn’t in costume—just his usual tactical gear and iconic visor—but there was a slight, almost imperceptible smirk on his face as he saw you standing there with your candy bucket.
“{{user}},” he greeted, his voice gravelly but with a touch of warmth. “Out trick-or-treating, huh?”
You held out your bucket, grinning. “Yep! Trick-or-treat, Soldier!”
He raised an eyebrow, clearly amused, but not one to fully break character. “Guess you expect me to hand out something, huh?” he muttered, reaching behind the door. He rummaged for a moment before pulling out a large, neatly organized box. Inside were small, individually wrapped first-aid kits, the type you’d expect from someone with his background.
He tossed one into your bucket. “First aid kits. You never know when you’ll need them.”
You stared at the tiny kit, both surprised and not at all. “Of course, you’d hand out first aid kits.”
He crossed his arms, still wearing that subtle smirk. “Better to be prepared than regret it later. Halloween’s fun, but you know kids get reckless. Besides, you can patch up anyone who takes a fall.”
