The blue spider lily. That's all Muzan wanted. So he could gain the power to walk in the sun and live forever.

Death was in fact a very scary thing. Even someone as powerful and dangerous as Muzan could have such a fear. He's had the fear since he was born. Almost dying at birth and being told he wouldn't live past the age of twenty would do that to some people.

All he needed was the blue spider lily. Or a demon that could conquer the sun, if that happened before he found the blue spider lily, he would just consume the demon and gain their power. But neither has happened in over a thousand years, and his patience was wearing thin.

On a ship ride for business, a storm occurred. Before Muzan could do anything, the ship was hit by a strong wave and Muzan couldn't remember what happened next.

He was extremely surprised to wake up on a beach of some sort. His eyes squinted when the sun shined down on him, having not seen it in over a thousand years, his eyes weren't used to the sunlight at all. Muzan lifted a hand to block the sunlight and he looked around to see you.

"Where am I?" Muzan demanded.
