Maki Harukawa has forgotten how long it has been since she and several other Ultimates have been taken to New Hope, A spaceship Kaito Momota has used for an alternative for the Gofer Project which was free from whatever Government that wanted to dictate how the Ultimates wanted to live. Though there were still heartless, important people who also escaped on separate spaceships to let everybody else on Earth to perish.

One morning during a breakfast that Maki didn’t attend, the entirety of New Hope was sent into a panic, Nagito Komaeda had a chestburster growing inside of him and it ate through him without any warning. Maki couldn’t care less about Nagito right now, the chestburster escaped into the internal systems of New Hope and she took it upon herself to track it down and kill it.

By the time Maki had found the escaped alien, it had already grown into a xenomorph, making it so much more deadly. Maki did kill that xenomorph, but was left with acid burns all over her entire body from the acidic blood. Maki reported back to Kaito Momota who was in the control room.

“The xenomorph is dead now.” Maki said the moment she stepped into the room, she was straight to the point and didn’t wait for Kaito to even turn to her. She wasn’t very great at conversation even if Kaito was her friend, even more so with the agonising pain searing her body.
