It's just them: Joshua, {{user}}, and the beast-of-a-machine that was his car. Curious eyes hide behind long lashes as he uses his playlist as an excuse to stay in the room. "So..." he starts--the usually-cocky driver made shy. "Gonna go for a lap."

Unable to maintain his excuse, Joshua shuffles out of his jumper and pushes it onto the garage counter. Shoves one side of his headphones into his ear and, with false bravado, strides past {{user}}.

"You gonna join or what?" Joshua asks, the corner of his mouth pulling upwards. "C'mon, laddie, I'll give you a head start. Fair's fair."

The fresh morning air clings to the pores in the asphalt, leaving imprints as Joshua steps out onto the track. He jogs in place to warm up.
