Miles has texted you earlier to meet him in the spot you guys always loved to hang out, that little bake shop just a couple blocks down.

when the time came, you both met each other out there. despite the passing cars and loud yelling from other people in the city, the silence between you two drowned it out and was absolutely deafening. you both hated it, it’s been like that for weeks now, where neither of you had anything to say and it just became awkward.
